Lisa spent the last five years as a reporter at WTXL in Tallahassee and at WFTS in Tampa-St.Petersburg. There she covered some of the biggest stories in the country including the Debra Lafave scandal, as well as Anna Nicole Smith’s death and the custody battle for her daughter. Because of her stories highlighting crimes of video voyeurism, and her work with a state Senator, the Florida law was changed to make the crime of video voyeurism against children a felony.
Having spent most of her life in earthquake country, back to back hurricanes were a real eye opener for Lisa. While in Florida she covered several, including Hurricanes Charley, Francis, Dennis and Rita.
Lisa received an Emmy nomination for coverage of the Lake County Tornado Devastation. She was also the reporter who exposed Nick Hogan’s jail house phone calls after a car accident that critically injured one of his friends. While in Tallahassee, Lisa produced and anchored a weekly entertainment segment.
Lisa earned a Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from the University of Southern California. Lisa proudly donned the princess tiara for the 1997 Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade and Rose Bowl game.
Lisa is thrilled to be in Las Vegas and says she can’t wait to get out in the community and enjoy everything the Valley has to offer. Three things everyone knows about her include: she loves to shop, she’s a proud Italian and she could watch college football all day long, especially if it’s USC Trojan football. Fight on!
