Lysee started at WKOW in September 2010. She works as a weekend content producer for “Wake Up Wisconsin Weekend” and a weekday multimedia journalist.
Before coming to Madison, Lysee graduated magna cum laude from the University of Southern California where she majored in broadcast journalism.
Lysee gained experience in the newsroom as an executive producer, anchor and reporter at USC’s Annenberg TV News. Her work earned her the Bryce T. Nelson Award for Distinguished Journalism and third place for television feature photography in a Society of Professional Journalists competition.
In Los Angeles, Lysee worked as an intern with KABC’s web and news department before interning in KNBC’s investigative department.
Lysee is originally from Southern California, so she is enjoying her first real winter and all the new outdoor activities that come with it.
