Victoria Spilabotte joined the 17 News team in Bakersfield in July 2010 as a video journalist. She is completely self-sufficient shooting, writing, and editing her own stories each day.
Originally from Los Angeles, Victoria is a graduate of the Annenberg School of Journalism at the University of Southern California. She majored in Broadcast Journalism and International Relations.
During school Victoria reported for Annenberg TV News, the University of Southern California’s nightly news and multimedia operation. She covered stories across Los Angeles including the pretrial hearing for the doctor charged in Michael Jackson’s death and the Los Angeles May Day rally.
Victoria interned with reporters and producers at KNBC-TV and KTTV-FOX and produced packages for KNBC-TV’s feature reporter. She also interned for Access Hollywood.
