Cassie currently works for the Dollar Shave Club as a social media assistant and community manager. She helps montior social channels as well as create content strategy for the brand.
Cassie began her career at ATVN the fall semester of her freshman year working at the assignment desk and since has worked as a producer, web producer, assignment desk coordinator, multimedia journalist and playback operator.
For her final semester, Cassie returned to intern with KABC-7, this time with health specialist Denise Dador. She writes VO's and packages under Denise's direction. Previously, Cassie interned for entertainment reporter George Pennacchio writing packages, researching stories and interviewing celebrities on the red carpet.
Cassie has also interned at Univision and Hollywire.com in Los Angeles. Working in the promotions department at Univision, she assisted in planning and attending Street Team events that promoted the station and spoke Spanish to viewers. She also worked closely with the producer of the television program "Tu Estilo" and helped him book guests for the show. At Hollywire.com, she wrote entertainment news blogs and participated in re-designing the Web site.

How did ATVN prepare you for your career?:
Working in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines is a skill that most people in the work force lack. I learned how to monitor Facebook and Twitter channels, which leveraged into what I'm doing now.
What do you see as your next step? What is your ultimate career goal?:
Not sure. We'll see where the road takes me.
