Jennifer Kendall

Class of 2012, Master's



Jennifer has been a reporter at KTXS since June 2012. A born and raised Jersey girl, she earned her B.A. from Arizona State University?s Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication.

She later received her M.A. in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California?s Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism. While at USC, Jennifer was an anchor, reporter and video journalist for Annenberg TV News. She also produced for the award-winning news magazine USC Impact and was a contributor for the school?s news website Neon Tommy.

Before moving to Abilene, Jennifer worked at Fox News Channel?s Los Angeles bureau as the weekend assignment manager. She was in charge of weekend news-gathering for 17 states.

She also coordinated coverage of several breaking news stories, including Whitney Houston?s death and the Occupy protests.

Jennifer loves traveling and tries to visit as many new places as she can. She is also a big sports fan, and particularly loves watching NFL and college football games. She is excited to live in Abilene and learn more about life in West Texas.
