Soyoung Kim

Class of 2012, Master's



Soyoung Kim worked 6 semesters at Annenberg Television News. Her previous positions at ATVN include working on the assignment desk, as a video journalist, as a multimedia journalist, as a reporter and as a web producer. She is reporting again this semester and is glad to be doing what she loves.

As a sports news intern at CBS2/KCAL9, Soyoung had the opportunity to cover college and professional football games and report at high school football games. She also contributed to the weekend newscasts.

Soyoung also had the chance to report at the Teen Choice Awards in 2009. She helped conduct interviews with celebrities at the backstage gift suites.

Hoping to travel around the world, Soyoung will go anywhere good stories will lead her.
