Tara Kangarlou

Class of 2012, Master's



Tara Kangarlou was a Masters candidate finishing her degree in Broadcast Journalism at USC Annenberg. She received her English Literature Bachelors from UCLA. She has held various positions with different major news organization as fashion editor, opinion editor, assistant producer and on-air talent. She is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post, NBC-LA, Neon Tommy and ATVN. Born and raised in Tehran-Iran, Tara moved to the United States in her teens. She takes strong pride in her background and has worked extensively on human rights and women issues in the Middle East. She speaks multiple languages and holds expertise on Middle East and International Affairs.
