Alexis Zotos

Class of 2011, Bachelor's



Alexis has held several internships throughout her college career including working as a broadcast assistant for KMOV-TV in St. Louis. She assisted reporters in the field for day-of-air stories and live breaking news, including the nationally covered disappearance of four year old Alisa Maier. Alexis also worked closely with the web team, producing video, photo and print stories for the web.

Alexis also worked as a features intern for The Hollywood Reporter as well as ALIVE Magazine in St. Louis. She has had several articles published, including an in-depth look into the membership process of the Academy of Motion Pictures and Sciences (THR) and an inspiring story of one sister's journey from St. Louis to New York to raise money for cystic fibrosis and her younger sister (ALIVE).

Alexis' favorite part of reporting is meeting interesting people and getting the opportunity to share their stories. Some of her highlights include Emmy winning actor Bryan Cranston, actress Amanda Seyfried, TV host Cat Deeley, GOP hopeful Rick Santorum, Congresswoman Janice Hahn and on numerous occasions, Los Angeles Mayor, Antonio Villaraigosa.

Alexis is a coffee addict who loves to cook, watch movies and travel.
