Producers

Monday Funday

TAGS:

While I may not necessarily want to pursue a career as a producer for a news show, this class has taught me many valuable skills that I will continue to use after I graduate, no matter what field I end up in.

This class has taught me the importance of patience and teamwork. Collaboration is a big part of our newscast and it is absolutely necessary for me to work with my team of producers and the entire team in the media center if we want to produce a great show. This collaboration begins in our morning meeting and does not end until our wrap-up session after the show.

This class has also taught me that everyone's opinion is a valuable one and one that will give you insight. By working as a team and building off of each others ideas, we become more creative and insightful as a whole. This is be important in any business and it has the ability to give you a leg up against your competition.

This class has helped me realize that I definitely want to work in a creative field. It has honed my leadership skills and boosted my confidence. I am truly happy that I decided to take this class and I will definitely enjoy the last few weeks I have left with my amazing team on Mondays.
