Producers

It Goes By Fast

Producing is a huge responsibility and sometimes it can feel overwhelming. Whether or not you want to pursue producing as a career path, this class will teach you the meaning of dedication. My advice to future producers is not to let this opportunity go to waste. Come into the newsroom every week with a passion for the news and a desire to improve as a producer.

This class has inspired me to pursue a career in TV news production, but it also showed me how much I still have to learn. The important thing is to focus on what you can do better, even if it means correcting one mistake at a time and making a new one every week.

Finally, never forget that having an amazing producing team can make all the difference! Constant communication and patience are important in making the newsroom run smoothly. Moreover, a positive attitude even in the face of breaking news or pressing deadlines is more effective than panicking. Good luck future producers!
