Oh Yeah, We Know How To Do A Live Shot!

I heard we were doing a live shot today and I about peed my pants I was so scared.  I thought to myself, "Why would we try a live shot?  Last week went alright.  That just sounds like a recipe for disaster."  The goal was to get a live shot of our weather anchor out on the row with all of the halloween decorations.  We had left the show about a minute short on purpose, already thinking we needed lapse time in case we screwed up.  But actually much to our surprise, the show went off without a hitch.  Usually I am pretty upbeat about shows (even when they are not good), but I honestly believe our show from top to bottom was very solid, spare one of two minor mistakes.  Our live shot worked out great and it turns out all of our worry was for nothing.  Today's show helped us prepare for the worst.  But I guess even sometimes a blind squirrel finds the acorn!
