What is your advice to aspiring journalists?

Broadcast news is an extremely competitive and precarious business. Expect to work long hours, crazy schedules, and have TV news veterans doubt you because of your age. But if this is truly the career for you, none of these things will faze you. Oh, and don’t forget, have fun! There is life outside of the newsroom.
