Bio: Life is unpredictable. I worked in as an Associate Producer for KNSD in San Diego after college, but two years into it, I decided struggling to pay bills was not for me. I switched gears, moved to the beach, and got a job working in finance for the City of Oceanside. That was the best decision I ever made. I met my husband here and now we spend our days fishing and playing with our puppy, Julio. This is definitely not how I pictured my future, but it is amazing and I am as happy as ever.
What is the most important thing a college journalist should know when he or she is trying to negotiate his or her first job?
