Bio:

Anthony Cabrera is the live reporter every weekday morning on Tucson Today.  He also reports on stories throughout the community for News4 at 4.  So if you have any interesting stories on education, health, dating or anything inspiring… let him know.
He joined the KVOA News team in October 2007, making a move back to the Southwest.  He most recently worked in Toledo, Ohio where he both reported and produced the news.  It was a great opportunity for him to explore the Midwest.  But of course, the Western part of the country called him back.

He’s a California native, born and raised in San Jose. Eventually he moved down to Los Angeles where he graduated with a broadcast journalism degree from the University of Southern California. Sorry Wildcats. He’s a Trojan.

Anthony started his career as an intern with Dateline NBC, working on high-profile national stories and even interviewing celebrities on Oscar night. He then moved on to ABC Network News where he assisted on various shows including World News and Good Morning America. From there he moved over to KABC in Los Angeles, working behind the scenes and learning every aspect of local news.

Anthony loves a good time, whether it’s just hanging out or escaping to a tropical destination.

So in the words of the Trojans… Fight On!
