Bio: Emilie co-anchors the top-rated News 10 Today at 5am and 6am with Chief Meteorologist Darrin Rockcole. Before Emilie joined News 10 she had been working on Colorado’s western slope as a weekend reporter and anchor at the local CBS affiliate. Prior to that she had completed internships at KTLA in Los Angeles, Entertainment Tonight and the Los Angeles bureau of CNBC.
Emilie is a Southern California native and a graduate of the University of Southern California. She completed her studies and earned a degree in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Theater.
Snow won’t be too much of a problem for Emilie. During her stay in Colorado she took up skiing. She’s also a fan of Southern Cal football and is working on her golf game.
Emilie says the Today Show was always a part of her life while growing up and she admits that Oprah is a guilty pleasure.
She’s happy to be in the mid-Michigan area. She’s looking forward to making new friends and enjoying the four seasons that make Michigan so beautiful.
