Bio: Kandiss Crone joined the WLBT news team in June 2007 as a reporter. She comes to Jackson from Yuma, Arizona where she worked for the NBC affiliate. There, she wore many hats including that of a reporter, producer, and fill-in anchor.
After graduating from the University of Southern California, Kandiss landed her first job in tv news at KABC in Los Angeles. She worked behind the scenes as an assistant producer and often went out with photographers to cover stories. During college, she served as an anchor, producer, and reporter for Annenberg TV News and interned at various stations in Santa Barbara and Los Angeles.
Originally from a small town called Oxnard, California, Kandiss feels right at home here in the south. When she’s not at work, you can find her at the gym, church, or in the kitchen cooking.
