How did ATVN prepare you for your current job?
At ATVN I learned how to work under extreme deadline pressure, a valuable skill for any job. I also learned how to communicate clearly and directly. Finally, ATVN helped hone both my interpersonal and leadership skills. Thank you, ATVN! 
What is your advice to aspiring journalists?
I never really bought into the importance of internships while I was in school, but they really ARE important and valuable. I learned a great deal from all my internships, the last of which actually led to my current job! So, my advice is work hard and make those valuable connections (no matter what career you aspire to).
