What is your advice to aspiring journalists?

Don’t EVER do a story just to make a name for yourself. Make sure that you’re always seeking the truth, and you’ll make a name for yourself soon enough anyhow- doing things for the RIGHT reasons.

What is the most important thing a college journalist should know when he or she is trying to negotiate his or her first job?

Be true to yourself, and make sure it’s a calling.
