As crime rates continue to drop in Los Angeles there is one crime on the rise.....bike theft. Bicycle owners should take extra precautions when locking up their bikes.   Tulips may have trouble blooming in Southern California without a Winter chill, but there is an exception.   Route 66 used to be called the main street of America, running from Chicago to L.A. A few devoted Route 66 Enthusiasts are working hard to preserve what's left of the mother load.

This year brought some unusual weather to southern California and we were not the only ones affected.   The Santa Monica Pier is known for its lively beach scene...but on Sundays, visitors find a very different kid of attraction.   The Sunset Strip is a legendary spot for rock and roll, and it is getting a long-awaited makeover. But not everyone is jazzed about the project.
