Cal State L.A. students started gathering around 11 a.m. Thursday to protest budget cuts to education funding. It’s part of the national “Day of Action,” a day teachers, students, and parents chose to rally against funding cuts to public schools. The protesters at Cal State L.A. are expected to rally until about 3 p.m., and then will head over to Pershing Square in downtown to meet fellow protesters from other campuses.
