Alex Wilk is a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Political Science. During his time at ATVN, he has served as a studio camera operator, video journalist, sports volunteer, and news anchor. In addition to producing this semester, Alex will continue to work in the sports department and will take over as sports director next fall.
Outside of ATVN, Alex has worked as an editor for bleacherreport.com and as an intern in the sports department at KABC in Los Angeles. At ABC, Alex conducted post-game interviews, wrote scripts, researched stories and worked with the station on their special coverage of the X-Games. He has also worked as a social media/PR coordinator for a number of organizations.
Alex hopes to become a sports producer for either a cable network or locally here in Los Angeles.
