Jessica Janner is a senior majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in International Relations. She has been a part of the ATVN team since her freshman year! This year she will be anchoring, on the Graphics team, reporting, and directing.
Jessica’s first experience at ATVN was at the assignment desk her freshman year. Since then she has been a graphic artist, Writer/Shooter/Editor, weather anchor, technical director, and also a producer.
Although she’s lived in Southern California most of her life, Jessica was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She can speak Portuguese and Spanish. Jessica also lived in Spain for 8 weeks. This past summer Jessica worked at an internship at WABC in New York!
When she’s not at ATVN, Jessica enjoys playing tennis, going out with friends, and reading. Jessica is also a member of Kappa Alpha Theta. Her favorite show is The Office. She loves anything with chocolate, ice cream, or cheesecake!
Jessica hopes to someday anchor at a network news show like 20/20. She would also love to do travel journalism. For now, she’s enjoying every minute of being at USC! Fight on!
