Kevin Taylor is a junior majoring in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Cinema Television. Kevin has been working with ATVN since his freshman year and is looking forward to being a sports anchor this semester.
Kevin’s proudest moments with ATVN are shooting the UCLA football game freshman year, and shooting the Notre Dame Football game sophomore year. Kevin also worked as a writer/shooter/editor last semester. He is currently interning at Fox Sports West.
Kevin was born in Durham, North Carolina, but has been all around the south, living in Charleston, South Carolina, and New Orleans, Louisiana for high school.
Kevin has a genuine love for almost all sports, minus baseball and non-playoff hockey, and has been a Maryland sports fan his whole life, since his mom went there. Of course, USC is his number 1 team, and he also loves the New Orleans Saints, though his fantasy football team is his favorite team.
Kevin also loves to play video games and poker in particular, and one day hopes to be on TV at the World Series of Poker. However, Kevin’s realistic broadcast goals are to report on the sports he loves, and would like to end up in Bristol, Connecticut working for ESPN.
