Serena Cha worked in television news for 16 years before coming to USC in 1998 to start up Annenberg TV News. As Executive Producer at KCAL-TV, she supervised three daily newscasts. Before that, she worked as Senior Producer at KCBS-TV, and as a producer at KNBC-TV and KTTV-TV in Los Angeles and at WJZ-TV in Baltimore. She has a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan.
