Lindsay Lohan was in court Wednesday to schedule a preliminary hearing.

Los Angeles Superior Court judge Keith Schwartz told Lohan he'd send her to jail if she accepts a proposed plea deal.

Lohan was charged with one count of felony grand theft Feb. 9 for allegedly stealing a necklace worth $2,500 from a Venice jewelry store.

The case will go to a preliminary hearing if she does not accept the plea.

The 24-year-old actress is due back in court on Mar. 10. The prosecution's case against Lohan will be presented at the preliminary hearing.

The details of the proposed plea deal have not been released.
