Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding hours away

Los Angeles residents prepare for the marriage of Prince William and Kate.

It’s only hours until the whole world tunes into Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding and while some will be watching from the comfort of their own homes, other wedding fanatics will be enjoying their view of the ceremony right in front of the church it will be held in. Security has kept the amount of fans pitching tents under control, but British police have already arrested three people.

Here in the States, specifically USC, students have been making their wedding preparations as well. Nadia Heuzo is preparing for the event by looking for a replica of Kate Middleton’s engagement ring.

“It was selling on 3rd street and I regret not buying it and I'm just picking up a bunch of memorabilia so I can enjoy the show,” Heuzo said.

Other students are having their own wedding reception.

“So this is the cake that I made for the royal wedding, Paige Squiller said. "We're so excited for our party tonight, we decided to act like we're guests at the royal event."

There have been reports that 5,000 uniformed and undercover officers will be on hand looking for rowdy spectators as well as be on the lookout for any terrorist threats from Irish Dissidents, Muslim extremist, anti-monarchists and the royally obsessed.

But not all the British aren’t as enthralled.

“You know not for me but for some people...Americans love it, the Brit's love it, my god they're eating it up," Sebastian Roche said. "They'll be like Oh Lovey the Royals."

There will also be 1,500 guards lining the street for Middleton’s royal procession from the Abbey to Buckingham Palace during the wedding procession which is scheduled to start at 9a.m in Britain, 1a.m. Pacific Standard Time.
