Get involved at Annenberg TV News

Our OPEN HOUSE is Wednesday, September 5th from 10am-4pm in ASCJ G24. ATVN produces a live nightly newscast at 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, that airs campus-wide on Trojan Vision. ATVN also produces exclusive web content.

To join ATVN this semester, you must come to our Open House to sign up for workshops, shifts and auditions.

We have many POSITIONS available in the newsroom, field and studio.

Here’s just one example:
Even if your daytime schedule is pretty full, come be a part of our incredible studio crew from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. , one day a week.

ATVN is also expanding its Web division with brand new positions. At the Open House, we’ll be interviewing students interested in multimedia field producing and in-house Web producing. Both sets of skills are what news/sports directors across the country want to see in job candidates.

If you’re interested in photojournalism, our team of photographers shoot compelling stills and put together great slideshows. Please apply at the Open House.

If you want to learn how to produce live shots from the field, you can apply for an ATVN Streambox operator position at the Open House. Our quick thinking Streambox operators use special state-of-the-art technology to make live shots happen during the nightly newscasts.

Again, news directors all over the country value this kind of experience.

Watch the Streambox in action!

Read about our existing POSITIONS under ABOUT at the top of our home page.  Find out more about those positions and the brand new ones at the Open House on Wednesday, September 5th, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., in the ATVN newsroom (ASC G-24).

Come earlier rather than later to aim for the shift you prefer.

If you have questions, email us at .

HERE’S TO A GREAT 2012 AT ATVN!
