Lohan Taken into Custody, Posts Bail [Updated]
After appearing in court Wednesday morning, a judge revoked Lindsay Lohan's probation for failing to attend community service appoinments. Immediately after the trial, Lohan was taken into custody in the courtroom with bail set at $100.000.
In the courtroom, Lohan wore all white. During the trial, judge Stephanie Sautner said, "There has been violation after violation." However, Lohan's therapist stated that she attended sessions every Tuesday. However, travel dates say otherwise.
Sautner scheduled a second hearing on November 2.
Before the second hearing, Lohan must complete 16 hours of community service at a morgue.
[UPDATE | 1:33 p.m. PDT: Lohan posted bail shortly before noon.]
Lohan was back in court after the L.A. City Attorney's Office thought Lohan failed to meet the terms of her probation stemming from a case of jewelry theft.
On May 11, Lohan pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor grand theft charge involving a $2,500 necklace in Venice, CA.
She was placed on three years probabtion and ordered to 120 days in jail. Over 480 hours of community service were sentenced for violating her probabtion after a 2007 DUI case.
Lohan recently tweeted: "I am not to be made an example of anymore. I am working hard and fulfilling my obligations every single day, to the court as well as myself. If I travel, its for work and its been approved. As is anything I do when I leave the state. I'd appreciate it if people will just let me do what is asked of me, so that I can get my life back. Please ignore the reports which have no truth to them. Thank you."
