Dorothy's Ruby Slippers on Display in Beverly Hills

Dorothy's iconic ruby slippers from the film "The Wizard Of Oz" are on display at a Beverly Hills jeweler before going up for auction.

The ruby slippers from the legendary film, The Wizard of Oz, are being displayed in Beverly Hills jewelry store Solange-Azagury Partridge this week before being auctioned off on December 16th.

Several different pairs of shoes were worn by actress Judy Garland in the 1939 film, but these shoes are the one's Garland wore during the film's climax, when Dorothy Gale clicked her heels together three times and said "there's no place like home."

If you'd like to slip into the slippers, it's going to cost you a pretty penny. The ruby slippers are expected to go for upwards of two-million dollars.  Ten percent of the total sales of the auction will benefit the L.A. Opera.
