Lohan Sentenced to Jail
However, the Sherrif's Department told TMZ that Lindsay will only serve 20 percent of her sentence, equalling six days total, because the jails are overcrowded. This will be Lohan's fifth jail sentence since 2007.
The judge said that Lohan must also complete her community service at the county morgue or risk serving an additional 270 days in jail. Specifically, by December 14, Lohan must have completed 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions. By January 17, another 12 days at the morgue and 4 psychotherapy sessions must be completed. Everything must be completed by March 29, or she will be sentenced to 270 days in jail.
Lindsay Lohan was back in court Wednesday to determine if she violated her probation by failing to report to community-service appointments at a Skid Row women's shelter.
Lohan is on probation for theft and a DUI case.
On October 19, Judge Sautner revoked Lohan's probation at a hearing after lashing out at the actress, saying Lohan repeatedly violated the terms of her probation. After the hearing, the actress was handcuffed in court and booked. She was released later that day on $100.000 bail pending Wednesday's hearing.
Judge Sautner said that Lohan missed nine appointments at the Downtown Women's Shelter. Some times the actress left early from the appointments.
After the previous hearing, Lohan was ordered to perform at least 16 hours of community service work at the county morgue before Wednesday's hearing. The next day, Lohan showed up late and turned away from the coroner's office.
