Adult Film Industry May Be Forced to Use Condoms

Adult film industry says law could put them out of business.

The AIDS Healthcare Foundation announced Tuesday that it has more than half of the signatures required to put a new ordinance of the November ballot that would mandate that all adult actors wear condoms during filming.

The AHF says that the Los Angeles County health department is responsible for taking a more active role in adult film production.

Officials from the adult entertainment industry say that the ordinance has the potential to drive them out of business and that their current policies are sufficient to keep the actors safe.
