[UPDATE | 12:42 p.m. Feb. 16: Aretha Franklin and Stevie Wonder will perform at Whitney Houston's funeral on Saturday. A publicist has confirmed that funeral invitations have been sent to Houston's ex-husband Bobby Brown, her ex-costar in "The Bodyguard," Kevin Costner, and Oprah Winfrey.

Houston's musical mentor Clive Davis is also set to speak at the funeral. Family friend and gospel singer Marvin Winans will provide a eulogy.]

The funeral will take place in Newark, New Jersey, in the church she attended as a child.  The legendary pop singer's service at the New Hope Baptist Church will be broadcast online. Houston's family has agreed to let the Associated Press stream the funeral live on the Internet. No wake is planned.

The death of Whitney Houston remains under investigation and officials say it could be weeks before the cause of her death is known.

Coroner's officials stated that no information regarding the singer's autopsy will be released after police detectives requested confidentiality.

It was released however that Houston, 48, was found unresponsive and underwater in the bathtub of her Beverly Hills hotel room on Saturday prior to a pre-Grammy gala she was scheduled to attend, but the assistant chief coroner has not provided any further details about the room or any evidence linked to her death.

At a news conference Monday police said they are not conducting their investigation as an investigation of a homicide.

Officials have said that there has been no indication of foul play as of yet but that toxicology results to confirm that statement will likely take weeks to obtain. Toxicology results are often necessary before an official cause of death is declared, and detectives have said that any information they do obtain will only be released at their discretion.

Restrictions placed on autopsy reports have been used before in other high-profile deaths, such as the death of Michael Jackson. In that case, information was withheld for several weeks so that the investigation of his death could continue without being compromised.

Houston was remembered at the Grammys Sunday which opened with a moment of silence in remembrance of the late singer. Praise of her accomplishments was provided by artists such as Bonnie Raitt and Stevie Wonder, and her signature cover of "I Will Always Love You" was sung in her honor by Jennifer Hudson.

Earlier Sunday, Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown, 18, was taken by ambulance to a Los Angeles hospital but was later released. Bobby Brown issued a statement Saturday asking for privacy and stating his appreciation for the condolences provided by the public for his family.

Houston's "I Will Always Love You" was the most downloaded single for much of Sunday on iTunes.
