Youngest Brother from "Home Improvement" Arrested

The 'Home Improvement' was actor arrested on suspected DUI early Wednesday morning.

Taran Noah Smith, better known as the actor who played the youngest of three brothers on the 1990's sitcom "Home Improvement," was arrested early Wednesday morning on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

According to Sgt. Ryburn of the Burbank Police Department, police officers approached the 27-year-old's 1998 Honda Accord at 1:30 a.m. after noticing the car illegally stopped in the red zone, near a fire hydrant in front of Burbank High School.

Upon asking Smith to roll down his window, the officers noted the smell of marijuana and administered a field sobriety test. Smith was taken to the Glendale jail for booking on charges of driving under the influence of drugs.

A substance "consistent with some type of marijuana" was found in Smith's car, Ryburn said. Smith's bail is set at $10,000.
