Nikias, LAPD Announce New Campus Safety Measures

Police say they plan to increase the number of patrol cars and personnel around campus.

Just two weeks after two graduate students were shot and killed less than a mile from campus, university administrators, Los Angeles mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and LAPD officials announced a series of new safety measures intended to keep students safe.
