Media Portrayal of Campus Safety

The Mayor and Police Chief praised the university for it's security efforts.

LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck and Mayor Villaraigosa are asking the media not to omit information about how crime has actually improved in the area around USC in the last seven years.  Statistics show that there has been a 20% crime decrease.
