Natural History Museum Presents New Exhibits
L.A.'s Natural History Museum previewed the first two parts of their new urban garden exhibit Thursday morning, which will be completed by June of 2013.
The North Campus Plan will transform the museum's parking lot into a three-and-a-half-acre garden.
The new garden exhibit's living wall is constructed out of stone and recycled concrete.
The exhibit will teach kids to plant their own gardens, allowing them to play in a "Get Dirty" zone with native plants and bugs.
In addition, the Home Garden and 1913 Garden is undergoing transformations to provide more interactive components.
