Los Angeles companies like H&R Block are supporting the event Tuesday by asking customers to bring a new pair of shoes to benefit an organization in Baja, California. H&R Block associates will ditch their shoes, which TOMS Shoes is calling "Barefoot at Block" on their website

TOMS Shoes is dedicated to providing children in need with shoes by donating a pair for every pair that is sold. The event is now in its fifth year and according to the company, TOMS Shoes hopes to surpass the 250,000 people that went barefoot last year for the cause.
