Explain that you have no control over what they say,appreciate their enthusiasm but observe that there is so much valid criticism of Romney/Ryan that poorly supported accusations are superfluous. In short, don't try to get in everything. A humorous comment or two is invaluable: E.G. There is a cartoon where Romney is at a "find the lady" table and saying " You haven't been able to learn MY income tax information; let' see if you can guess what YOUR taxes will be in a Romney Administration." Biting humor = soundbites.
