President Barack Obama will arrive in Los Angeles on Wednesday evening for a scheduled appearance on "The Tonight Show" with Jay Leno.

Obama is expected to arrive around 5:30pm. But the President's visit to California will only be a fleeting one with his departure scheduled just two hours after he arrives.

Obama's stop in Los Angeles is part of a grueling day on the campaign trail. He will spend the day campaigning in both Iowa and Colorado. After leaving California, he will then fly to Las Vegas where he will attend a Democratic campaign rally at Doolittle Park.

The Los Angeles Police Department has warned Wednesday's visit is likely to cause traffic delays.

"Every effort will be made to minimize traffic impact to the public while the President is traveling through the city," the LAPD said in a statement.

The streets around the Los Angeles International Airport and in Burbank where Leno's show is filmed are the most likely areas to be affected.

The President last appeared on "The Tonight Show" in October, 2011. Tonight's appearance will be his fifth time on the show.

COMMENTS

Will Jay ask Why President Obama is selling arms in Indonesia? Or why no administration since 1963 have supported the cause of freedom, the "act of self-determination" that Kennedy designed in the New York Agreement? Is it because big business like Freeport and Bechtel are the real powers in Washington? China sold arms and wanted oil in the Sudan and American businessmen have been selling arms and mining territories under Indonesian occupation for forty five years. I want to know what the puppet masters are doing, I want to see what the man behind the curtain (trans-national corporations) has planned for us.
