'Twihards' Camp Out for Final Installment

The "black carpet" premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2" is on Monday at L.A. Live.

Thousands of die-hard "Twilight" fans, or "Twihards," have started to line up Thursday at L.A. Live to attend the premiere of "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2."

These "Twihards" will not be able to see the movie on Monday, but are happily sleeping outdoors just for the "black carpet" premiere. Fans will be looking out for their favorite actors including Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.

According to Summit Entertainment, over 1,200 fans camped out at L.A. Live for days in hopes of catching a glimpse of the stars at the "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1."

And don't worry, these fans won't be bored in the cold weather.

Summit Entertainment and L.A. Live will be making sure "Twihards" are entertained as they wait. They will be hosting the following events this weekend:

  • Friday, Nov. 9: Jamba Juice will hold a morning workout for campers at 10:30 am, on the Nokia Plaza in L.A. Live. They will provide samples of their new "Berry Bitten" flavor smoothie to accompany to "Twilight"-themed workout lead by award-winning fitness instructors.
  • Saturday, Nov. 11: Time Warner Cable will host a Twilight Fan Camp Concert at 1:00 pm, with performances by A Boy and His Kite, Anya Marina, Paul McDonald & Nikki Reed, and Christina Perri.
  • Sunday, Nov. 12: Time Warner Cable will treat fans to a breakfast catered by Corner Bakery, with surprise appearances from the Twilight cast.

The the fifth and final installment of the blockbuster series "The Twilight Saga" will premiere nationwide on Nov. 16 across the country.

Thus far, the "Twilight" film series has grossed over $2.5 billion worldwide.
