Festival of Books Lineup Announced
The event website released the lineup of scheduled authors and celebrities to attend, with more to be released later.
More than 150,000 people come out for the festival every year, making it the largest book festival in the nation.
The festival began in 1996 with one goal: "to bring together the people who create books with the people who love to read them."
The festival features many book-related events and speakers, 300 exhibitor booths, several book prizes, poetry readings and musical performances.
In the past, the event has seen speakers like Julie Andrews and Betty White.
This year, Julie Andrews is returning to promote her book, "The Very Fairy Princess Here Comes the Flower Girl."
Writers like Lemony Snicket, author of the popular youth series "A Series of Unfortunate Events," and Jeff Kinney, author of the "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" series, which was recently made into a feature film, will attend the event.
The festival, however, does not just feature authors. Actor John Cusack will discuss his recent portrayal of Edgar Allan Poe in the film "The Raven." Former American boxer Sugar Ray Leonard will talk about his recent biography "The Big Fight: My Life In and Out of the Ring," and reality star Tori Spelling will talk about her new book, "Celebratori: Unleashing Your Inner Party Planner to Entertain Friends and Family."
