Meet the Signees: Ty Isaac

Running back. Joliet Catholic High School. Joliet, IL

Chalk up yet another five-star commitment for USC. Ty Isaac is ranked as the fourth running back and the No. 27 overall player in the country by Rivals.com, and the five-star prospect was one of the first to commit to USC, way back in May. Like seemingly every other USC commit, there were countless rumors that Isaac would go back on his commitment and sign with either Michigan or Notre Dame. However, Isaac claims he never wavered, despite strong pushes from the Wolverines and the Irish as well as Arkansas.

At 6' 3" and 215 pounds, Isaac is well-size for his position and provides USC a serious downhill runningback for the future. He is said to be a tremendously instinctive player with great vision and a knack for finding the hole. The concern is his pass blocking ability, which he did little of in high school.
