ATVN Wins Two National Broadcasting Society Awards

Annenberg TV News was named as a finalist in five different categories and took home the Grand Prize in two. 

Annenberg TV News took home two Grand Prize trophies at the National Broadcasting Society Awards' 50th Annual Competition Sunday in Washington, D.C.

ATVN won for best overall website in the Web Design category,  and Executive Producer Bronte Lawson Turk won first place in the Video Feature Package category for her piece on Meadowbrook Horse Sanctuary, an animal rescue operation in Riverside County. 

The NBS Undergraduate Electronic Media Competition was founded in 1962 to recognize journalistic excellence in both television and radio programming. This is the 12th year that it has included a Web Design category. 

Annenberg TV News was named as a finalist in three addtional categories, including Video News Package, Video News Program and Video Sports Program.
