L.A. Times Festival of Books Schedule Announced
The smell of freshly printed paper is in the air around USC, as the Los Angeles Times released the schedule Wednesday for its massive literary event, which will cover USC campus April 20 and 21.
The event will feature eight stages and several panels on which luminaries from all across the cultural sphere will entertain and inform attendees of all ages.
The festival will feature readings from such high-profile figures as children's author Lemony Snicket, television producer Mark Burnett, iconic 1980's actress Molly Ringwald, poet and author Margaret Atwood, comedian Dimitri Martin, singer-songwriter and actress Lisa Loeb, Lucy Dahl (daughter of beloved children's book author Roald Dahl), and USC professor and slam poet Javon Johnson. The panels will tackle a variety of topics relating to literature, writing, and books in general.
There will also be musical performances by both professional and student groups.
