Garcetti Addresses Water Sustainability at Leadership Conference

At the One Water Leadership Conference Monday, Mayor Eric Garcetti urged leaders to teach the community about sutainability to find solutions to local and regional water issues.

"If you want drama, if you want water, if you want innovation and creativity, if yout want cutting edge, if you want lessons where we failed in the past, you're in the right place," said Garcetti.

He emphasized that investing in water sustainability is profitable for the city.

The mayor also mentioned his intitiative to go back to basics.

"Making sure we have enough water is probably the most basic thing the government can do," he explained.
