Debt Ceiling Threatens Small Businesses

The government is still shutdown and will start affecting small business owners if nothing is solved by the end of the week.

The government shutdown is entering its third week and President Obama visited a Food Bank to give out meals to families affected by the shutdown.

He explained if the government defaults, then it could make the economy even worse than it already is because of the shutdown.

Small business owners who are vendors to the government could potentially not get paid on time if the government doesn't fix things by the end of the week.

Aqeela Sherrills is the owner of 3 Worlds Cafe in South East L.A. and he said if the shutdown isn't solved soon, it could greatly hurt his business.
