Former LA Mayor Villaraigosa To Teach At USC

Former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa has been appointed as a part-time professor at the USC Price School of Public Policy.

The announcement was made on Friday by USC officials who said Villaraigosa will be focusing on issues such as state government, planning and transportation.

This is part of the USC's think tank initiative called the "USC Villaraigosa Intiative For Restoring the California Dream," which will help fund forums and report on major policy issues.

Mark R. Thomas, Dean of the School of Pubilc Policy, said he was very excited to add Villaraigosa to his faculty.

Villaraigosa will be teaching both undergraduate and graduate students, according to USC officials.
