Museum of Tolerance Debuts "Anne" Exhibit
Mayor Eric Garcetti and Governor Jerry Brown were some of the people that welcomed the new exhibit "Anne," that opened Monday at the Museum of Tolerance in West L.A.
The exhibit, which was created by the Simon Wiesenthal Center, takes viewers on a 60-minute experience of Anne Frank's life as they follow the journey from her happy childhood to the Nazi threat that forces her family to hide.
Visitors are brought into Anne's world through interactive elements as well as different environments, such as the featured film dramatization of her family's secret hidden room.
The entire experience is said in Anne's own words and is narrated by Academy Award-nominated actress Hailee Steinfeld.
"Anne" is open to the public Sunday through Friday from 10 a.m to 6:30 p.m.
