Non-Profit Offers Free Medical Care to Thousands

Care Harbor LA is offering free health clinics at the L.A. Sports Arena.

Care Harbor LA, an organization that provides free health services to people without healthcare, will offer a free health clinic Wednesday, Oct. 30 through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Thousands of people without health insurance will have access to dental fillings and cleanings, eye exams, immunizations and screenings.

The non-profit organization also offers counseling services on topics such as stress reduction, nutrition, preventitive dentistry and smoking cessation.

Care Harbor partners with local clinics, hospitals and private practices to ensure follow-up care for their patients.

Twenty five percent of patients at Care Harbor clinics come back for follow up care to prevent diseases.

The clinic will be open daily from 7a.m. to 5p.m. at the LA Sports Arena located at 3939 S. Figueroa Street.
