Sorority Holds Vigil for Victims of Domestic Violence
USC Alpha Chi Omega and the Center for Women and Men are taking a stand on domestic violence on Thursday at Tommy
Trojan.
The Candlelight Vigil Ceremony will be held to spread awareness about domestic violence, which affected one in four women nationwide.
Alpha Chi aims to educate the public and assist victims in our community by signing pledges to not hurt loved ones and lighting candles to remember victims.
Several guest speakers will address the issue including three women from a local organization in Los Angeles called Linda's Voice.
The vigil is part of Alpha Chi's philanthropy, which raises money for the Good Shepard Shelter in Los Angeles.
This event is scheduled to begin Thursday at 6:30 p.m at Tommy Trojan.
